We had such a great time at the Kopper Kettle Inn Restaurant with family and friends! The outdoor seating area was a real highlight. The fairy gardens were so fun to explore, and my daughter and I especially loved walking around and looking at all the little details. The food was just as good as the atmosphere. The fried chicken was great. We loved the uniqueness of the building.
This place is lovely. The grounds are like stepping back in time. One of the best parts of meals here, the French Onion Soup was taken off the menu sadly. The staff is kind and attentive even when busy. It's a great place for a special family meal, especially around Halloween and Christmas when they decorate beautifully. I would love more options on the menu for vegetarians. I love going here with my family and only have the option to eat salad and 1-2 sides. We would be much much more likely to come on more family occasions with more options.
This place was almost Too Fancy for my family and I when we went. It’s a beautiful sit down restaurant that has an old-timey feel and beautiful decor. Lovely staff and delicious food. Will definitely be going back!
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal! We ate our meal in the beautiful outdoor garden area. Very charming! The gods was hot and delicious and served with an attentive and courteous server. I definitely recommend it!
This place is worth the trip to Morristown! One of Indiana's hidden gems. The atmosphere is wonderful and has an old mansion feel to it. Each room offers a unique setting. A walk through the gardens is a must. It offers peaceful places to dine or to just sit and relax peacefully. The food is homemade and served family style. I now know why this place is known for its fried chicken. Delicious! Crispy outside but cooked to perfection inside! The catfish is excellent too. Cooked well without the "fishy" taste, Not rubbery like other places. The side dishes - Mashed potatoes, corn, and green beans - are home made and very good! This was my first visit here and I will most definitely be returning for more!
Very unique restaurant both inside and out. I had the Swiss steak and it was great, very tender and flavorful. I was also served mashed potatoes, green beans and a piece of spice cake. My only complaint was I wasn't fond of the green beans. They tasted sweet to me. My mother had a huge piece of cheesecake with raspberry sauce and commented it was the best cheesecake she ever had. Our waitress brought us warmed towels to wipe our hands when we finished and we left very full and with a complimentary bag of kettle corn. We will return.
We took a group of 18 people here to celebrate a 100th birthday and had a great experience. We made a reservation well in advance due to our large party size. Our service was wonderful and the food was excellent. The dishes were served family style. I highly recommend the pan fried chicken and mashed potatoes! The broccoli cheddar soup was delicious, too. We were given a couple ice cream flavors to pick from for dessert, vanilla or peppermint, along with a variety of toppings. The staff included a candle on the birthday girl's ice cream, which was a nice gesture. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and gave off a very elegant, festive vibe. Our out-of-state relatives were impressed and enjoyed the experience. We had a memorable evening!
Such a beautiful atmosphere, the food was excellent and so was the service! I highly recommend. I would also recommend calling ahead and making reservations
